PLASMA 13/05
Five vertical and 13 horizontal window segments, doubling as video screens, partition the facade of the former Vereinigte Energiewerke AG (VEAG) building and form a near- autonomous L-form. Activated by pulses of light objects emerge, quoting the surface aesthetics of trivial consumer goods. Their shapes flow between the windows from top to bottom and from left to right, burn up to arise again. Referring to the specifity of the location energy cycles as a universal principle, which allow transformations of form into form are accommodated in a symbolic and conceptual framework.
